Calvin is the founder of the Swarthmore Migration Project. He is a sophomore majoring in Linguistics and Languages (Spanish and Chinese), with a minor in Latin American Studies. Outside of the Swarthmore Migration Project, Calvin works as a Multicultural Recruitment Intern for the Swarthmore Admissions Office and is a member of the Swarthmore Asian Organization. In the past, he has also reported on refugee issues for War News Radio.
Calvin speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and Spanish.
