Immigrants in Ireland face growing racism as recession deepens

Jack Stephens at The Mustard Seed posed an Al-Jazeera English feature on immigrants in Ireland. As the Irish recession continues, European immigrant groups such as the Romanians are going home, while immigrants from outside of Europe, such as Somalis, are facing increased racism as a result of the idea that immigrants are taking Irish jobs. According to the video, immigration experts argue that the Irish must learn to see immigrants as positive contributors to the economy, even in these tough times.
